Quicky Exfoliating Facial

My dear aunt sent me a little recipe for a facial exfoliator.  She says that it is the best exfoliator that she has ever used!  She saw it on the Dr. Oz show the other day. She said that her face has never felt better!

I'm going to give it a shot!  Who's with me?

Quicky Exfoliating Facial

Take 1 packet of BC powders or Goodies powders or 6-12 crushed aspirin ( not coated)
Add 1/2 tsp of lemon juice or just enough to make a paste
Mix it up.
Then  gently rub the paste over your entire face and leave on until it dries ( approx 10 minutes).
Once dry,  take another small bowl and add 1 tsp of baking soda and 1/2 cup of water .
Use this to rinse your face
Then rinse clear with plain water.

Then get on here and tell me how your face feel!

I'll update this post once I've done this myself!

UPDATE:

My face has never felt smooth!  It tingles a little as your putting it on but once it drys it stops.  Once you put the baking soda water on it, it fizzes and then your face feels like a baby's butt!

Wicked!

Something has changed within me

Something is not the same

I'm through with playing by the rules

Of someone else's game

Too late for second-guessing

Too late to go back to sleep

It's time to trust my instincts

Close my eyes: and leap!

First off, I did not get the job that I was desperately hoping to get.

Tears and tears later...

Gooood NEWS !!

Mom announced that she got us tickets to see Wicked in Charlotte, NC on Saturday afternoon!

I've been wanting to see this show for about 2 years!  Too bad it's not Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, but close enough!!

I've got the most adorable green dress that I'm just DYING to wear! I'm SO excited!!!

It's amazing how one Broadway show can change a mood!

How did I accumulate so much $#!!+ ?

I finally unpacked from college.  It was a horrendous task that took 3 days to complete.
And for 3 days my room was completely like a landmine field.

I have yet to tackle reorganizing my closet, which I'm leaving for another day!

I had 3 large trashbags full of clothes that I'm going to give to Goodwill ( for  that 1st tax-write off once I get a job) and 4 trashbags full of ...well...trash.

My room still needs a TON of work though, i still have lots of knick-knacks that I've accumulated over the years that aren't appropriate for a 'college graduate" room.  Again....another day!

I also need to go on a major shopping spree to buy clothes ( when I get that 1st big girl paycheck...from the big girl job...that I haven't gotten yet).  I never realized that half my wardrobe is t-shirts. I also just threw away clothes that I never wear anymore.  It's still cute, but just not me anymore!

I had fun pulling stuff out of my drawers from years ago and wondering why the hell I would walk out in public in that.  I seriously pulled out a skirt that probably wouldn't even cover up my girly parts now.  What was I thinking!?  And for the tops? Holy moly,  my boobs bust out of half of them now.

I think its time for a new wardrobe.

I'd rather...

I'd rather have my fingernails pulled off  than do thank you cards.

I am so ADD when it comes to stuff like that.

I always mess up and have to end up trashing a whole stack of cards (which draws the process out even longer because I have to rewrite everything). It's definitely time to invest in some erasable pens.  Haha.

I also just don't know what to say other than "Thank you for (blank). I really appreciate it. I hope to see you soon. Blah Blah Blah."

I got lots of money for graduation, so I don't want to be like "Thanks for the money, I'm going to spend it on scrubs or its going to sit in a savings account".

I also don't want to just say two sentences and then sign " Love, Megan"

Here's what I have so far

Thank you so much for your generous gift in recognition of my graduation from the University of South Carolina, it is much appreciated! I also want to thank you for your love and encouragement through the years, it has meant so much to me. I hope all is well your way, Take Care and God Bless!
                                                                            -Megan

Then for gifts I'll tweak it a little.

I just feel so generic, especially to those people that I rarely see (or haven't seen in years).  It's not hard for people I see often, because then I can BS my way and fill card space (haha).

I need some suggestions!

Crispy.

I.am.burnt.to.a.crisp.

Well done.

Raw.

Thanks to 4 hours in the sun at the beach this weekend.

I felt fine up until I hopped in the shower.

Then got ready for the wedding and sat in the sun for another hour.

(The wedding was gorgeous by the way).

Then at the outside reception...I almost froze...literally....goosebumps.

We ended up leaving early from the reception because we were all sun sick and tired.

It was a wonderful weekend on the coast of NC though!

And just because he is cute....
